We are going to be taking part in a campaign to encourage the children to have a healthy relationship with food. Over 4 weeks we will be exploring a whole range of fruits, vegetables and activities; working our way through the colours of the rainbow. We will be sharing what we get up to on our social media platform with #RainbowExplorer and helping you to get involved through Tapestry.
Other news which I am sure you will be very happy to hear is that Home Cooked meals will resume form 1st June! I am in the process of creating a menu so please email over your child’s favourite dishes.
If your child receives funded hours you must pay £2.00 per meal or bring your own food.
When home cooked food resumes your child may continue to bring their own food should you wish.
Please continue to use the hand sanitiser on entry and ensure that your child is not attending nursery if they are displaying any symptoms of COVID.
May I please remind you to ensure that your child has spare clothes, nappies, wipes and nappy cream in their bag.
If your child is going to School in September could you please ensure that you have emailed or informed a member of staff of the school you child has been offered a place at. This is so that we can fill in transition documents and pass your child’s relevant information on.
We would also like to work on the following areas to ensure your child is ready for school;
If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s transition to school or require any information then please get in touch; enquiries.brookcottage@gmail.com
